Designing a Smarter Workflow

We started our experiment in Copilot Studio by creating a simple chat tool for our sales team inside Microsoft Teams. It was connected to a Dataverse table that shared data with Dynamics 365 and used insights based on past sales conversions.

When a sales rep asked, “Which leads are most likely to convert this week?”, Copilot used Power Automate to pull the latest predictions and showed the top leads along with their chances of conversion and suggested next steps.

The Real Impact

Instead of spreadsheets and intuition, reps now start their day by talking to the Copilot — a simple conversation that drives their sales pipeline. The automation reduced qualification time by nearly 60%, improved follow-up consistency, and created a data-driven culture without adding new tools.
